WASHINGTON, DC - The George Washington Men's Rowing team returned to action Saturday and fell to Boston University by seven seconds in the Varsity Eight race. The Colonials finished with a time of 5:58.0, but Boston University finished with a time of 5:51.5 to win the race.

The teams also had a second Varsity eight race, which Boston University also won with a time of 6:06.9. The Colonials crossed the finish line with a time of 6:16.3. In the final race, the Freshman Eight boat finished with a time of 6:15.4, falling to the Boston University freshman boat who finished with a time 5:57.2.

The Colonials will return to action on Sunday, May 16th when they travel to Worcester, MA for the 2010 EARC Eastern Sprints. First race is scheduled for 8:00 a.m.
