SACRAMENTO - The George Washington men's rowing team saw its three entries compete in a total of six races on the opening day of the Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) National Championships on Friday afternoon on Lake Notoma.

Saturday's semifinals are now set after a busy opening day that saw each boat race in a morning heat and an afternoon repechage.
