Men's Rowing Remains at No. 16 Nationally

WASHINGTON, DC - The George Washington Colonials maintained No. 16 overall in the latest Collegiate Coaches' Poll as they prepare for the upcoming GW Regatta at the Potomac River. The University of California earned the top spot in this week's USRowing Men's Varsity Eight Collegiate Coaches' Poll. The University of Wisconsin earned the No. 1 ranking in the women's lightweight eight poll, while Princeton University earned the top spot in the men's lightweight eight poll. After a victory at the San Diego Crew Classic, California took over the top spot in this week's men's varsity eight poll, earning six of 18 first-place votes. Wisconsin received the remaining 12 first-place votes, but ranked second. The University Washington, Harvard University and Stanford University rounded out the top five. Wisconsin received all eight first-place votes to earn the top spot in the women's lightweight eight poll for the second week in a row. Princeton ranked second, while Stanford took third. Radcliffe and Georgetown University rounded out the top five. Princeton received seven of 11 first-place votes to earn the top spot in the men's lightweight eight poll. Harvard earned three first-place votes to rank second, while Yale University received one first-place vote to rank third. Georgetown and the United States Naval Academy rounded out the top five.
