GW Men's Rowing Concludes Regular Season on Sunday
Colonials to Face Navy and Columbia in Three Races in Princeton, N.J.

WASHINGTON - The George Washington men's rowing team will compete in its final regular-season races on Sunday afternoon against Navy and Columbia on Lake Carnegie in Princeton, N.J.
The Colonials' Freshmen 8 will race against Navy at 11:40 a.m., while the JV8 and Varsity 8 will row against both Navy and Columbia at 12:00 p.m. and 12:20 p.m., respectively.
GW's Freshmen 8 boat is on a six-race win streak after defeating both Rutgers and Georgetown last Sunday on the Potomac River. The crew has won each of the races by an average of four seconds.
The Varsity 8 came in second place last weekend against Georgetown and Rutgers after winning a bronze medal with a third-place finish in the Grand Finals at the Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association (SIRA) Championships on April 21.
The Colonials will have the next week off for final exams before heading to Worcester, Mass., for the Eastern Association of Rowing Colleges (ECAC) Sprints on May 19.
