PRINCETON, NJ - The George Washington Men's Rowing Varsity Eight rose to No. 12 in the national rankings this week, according to the latest USRowing Collegiate Poll released May 13.

Brown University earned the top spot in this week's USRowing men's varsity eight poll, while the University of Wisconsin topped the women's lightweight eight poll.

Brown took the top spot in the men's varsity eight poll, earning nine of 14 first-place votes. The University of Washington ranked second, while the University of California ranked third. Washington received four first-place votes, while California earned one first-place vote. Harvard University and Wisconsin rounded out the top five.
