He also served as his 2001 & 2002 ODP State Team captain. Giovacchini played for Hopewell Valley High School where he was named First Team All-State,and a Regional All-American.

Personal: Born Nov. 19, 1984 in Princeton, NJ...son of Donald and Deborah Giovacchini...has one sister Fallon (19) who runs track for UNC-Willmington.
