PHILADELPHIA, PA - The Colonials got on the board first, but were unable to hold the lead, as the Temple Owls improved their record to 10-3-2, 6-1-1 in the Atlantic 10.
GW (5-10-1, 2-5-1) scored in the 23rd minute of play when freshman Frank Ambrosio assisted sophomore Jon Allen convert his first score of the season. The Colonials would hold their 1-0 led until the Owls struck right before the half, when Tony Donatelli scored his fourth goal of the season in the 44th minute of play.
Temple's Nate Webb would score two more second-half goals to extend their lead to 3-1, as the Colonials were unable to get back on the board. Sophomore Derek Biss made five saves on 14 shots for the match.
The Colonials return home to face Fordham on Friday, Oct. 31st in a 2:00 pm match at Mount Vernon Athletic Complex
