WASHINGTON - George Washington men's soccer head coach Craig Jones announced the addition of freshman Khallil Stewart to the Colonials' roster this spring.

A midfielder from Lawrenceville, Ga., Stewart led his Collins Hill team to a state title in 2012. Stewart also played for Concorde Fire Soccer Club and was a member of the Jamaican Under-17 National Team.

"Coming from the Concorde Fire in Atlanta, we saw that Khallil had the ability to be an instant asset for us this fall," said Coach Jones. "Gaining international experience recently with the Jamaican U17 National Team was further evidence of how talented Khallil is and what a great addition to the program he will be. Joining us this spring gives him the chance to work with the team and staff, which can only help with the transition before he starts his collegiate career in the fall."

Stewart joins the Colonials this spring and will have four years of eligibility with the Colonials.
