WASHINGTON - The George Washington men's soccer team kicks off its preseason slate with its first of three exhibition matches as the Colonials visit Lehigh on Saturday at 5 p.m.

The Colonials return 21 letterwinners and seven starters from last season's squad while welcoming seven newcomers to the roster. Junior Jonny Forrest tallied eight points on three goals - all game winners - and two assists in 2013 to lead all returning scorers. Also back is sophomore Tobi Adewole, a 2013 Atlantic 10 All-Rookie selection who was tabbed to the A-10 Preseason All-Conference Second Team by College Sports Madness earlier this week.

Lehigh finished last season with a 2-14-1 overall record. Leading the way for the Mountain Hawks will be senior Ciaran Nugent, the 2011 Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Year and First-Team All-Patriot League defender Ali Famili.

The Colonials and Mountain Hawks met in an exhibition match during the 2012 preseason, a 1-0 victory for host GW on Farhan Khan's blast from 30 yards out late in the first half.

Following Saturday's match, the Colonials will visit nearby Catholic for an exhibition on Tuesday, Aug. 19 at 4 p.m. before concluding the preseason schedule at home against James Madison on Saturday, Aug. 23 at 4 p.m.

GW opens the regular season on Friday, Aug. 29, at American in the annual Kuykenstrong D.C. College Cup.
