WASHINGTON, DC - George Washington sophomore forward Seth Rudolph collected his first Atlantic 10 men's soccer Player of the Week award Monday after totaling four goals in helping the Colonials split their two matches last week.

Rudolph recorded the first hat trick in the A-10 this season in GW's 4-3 loss against Mount St. Mary's Saturday. The Belleville, IL, native opened the Colonials' match against the Mount with a goal in the 22nd minute, then added back-to-back goals in the 49th and 55th minutes to knot the match at 3-3.

The 2009 A-10 All-Rookie Team selection also netted a goal in a 4-2 victory at Longwood on Sept. 8 to finish the week with four goals and eight points. An A-10 Co-Rookie of the Week on Oct. 26, 2009, Rudolph now has eight goals and 17 points and 21 career matches.

GW (1-3-0) faces the most difficult challenge of its non-conference slate - a Tuesday night showdown at Duke, which is currently ranked No. 8 in the NSCAA Top 25 and No. 7 in Soccer America's poll. The match kicks off at 7:00 pm in Durham, NC.
