WASHINGTON, DC (October 15, 2002) - George Washington University men's soccer player Matthew Osborne (Bigham, Notts, England/Toothill Comprehensive) was named Atlantic 10 Player of Week for his outstanding play in two GW victories last week.

Osborne led the Colonials (6-6-0, 2-2) to two conference victories last week with four scores. Versus Dayton on October 11, Osborne scored from forty yards out on a heady play, catching the keeper out of the goal. Osborne recorded a hat trick against Xavier on October 13, including the game-winner, as GW rolled to a 5-1 victory.
