WASHINGTON, D.C. - President Stephen Joel Trachtenberg and Athletic Director Jack Kvancz showed their support for the men's soccer team at a well-attended pep rally at J Street this afternoon. The Colonials take on American University in an NCAA Championship First Round match at the Eagles' campus on Saturday, Nov. 23, at 1:00 p.m.

The Colonials (13-8-0) won the first Atlantic 10 Conference Championship in the program's history with a 3-2 victory over Duquesne on Sunday, Nov. 17, to capture the crown and an automatic bid to the NCAA Championship.

GW is sponsoring two buses to transport fans to AU's campus. The buses leave from Smith Center (22nd & G Sts.) at 12:00 p.m. and are free. Tickets for the 1:00 p.m. match are $5 for students and $7 for adults.
