Former St. Lawrence Standout Joins Colonials' Coaching Staff

Anderson Good joined the GW Squash program as an assistant coach in October 2015.

In his second season, Good continued to lead the GW Squash program on an upward trajectory. The men’s team concluded the season as the No. 11 team in the College Squash Association while the women’s team finished the season ranked No. 12. Under Good's guidance, the men closed out the season with four victories over ranked opponents, including an upset over then-No.10 Cornell. Additionally, then-freshman Jamie Oakley finished his first collegiate squash season as the runner-up in the Malloy Cup (South Division) at the CSA Individual National Championships, while then-senior Andres de Frutos concluded his career as a Colonial ranked third in program history with 49 career victories.

Good recently concluded a successful collegiate run at St. Lawrence University, earning 44 victories across his four-year career. He served as team captain as a senior in 2014-15, helping the Saints to a No. 2 national ranking, the highest in program history.

As a senior, Good advanced to the Round of 16 in the Malloy Cup (B-Division) of the College Squash Association (CSA) Individual National Championships and concluded the season ranked No. 41 overall in the CSA men's individual rankings.

Good played scholastically at Chestnut Hill Academy in Philadelphia, helping his squad to a United States ranking of No. 2 in 2010. He served as team captain in 2011 and earned a US Junior Squash ranking of No. 20 for the Boys Under-19 Division.
