No. 17 Men's Squash Advances to Summers Cup Championship
Colonials Top Bowdoin College, 5-4; Face Colby College For Title on Sunday Morning

PRINCETON, N.J. - The No. 17 George Washington men's squash team used two crucial four-set victories to clinch a 5-4 victory over No. 20 Bowdoin College on Saturday afternoon and advance to the Summers Cup (C Division) Championship Match.
GW (13-9) will play for its first team national championship in program history on Sunday at 9 a.m.
Senior Jose Calderon and junior Player Haynes each provided critical four-set victories at No. 4 and No. 7, respectively. Calderon jumped out to a 2-0 lead before dropping the third set. He rebounded to clinch a 11-3, 13-11, 8-11, 11-6 win. Haynes won the opening set before conceding the second game to William Winmill. Haynes held on to win 11-6, 9-11, 11-4, 11-5.
The Colonials will face No. 23 Colby College on Sunday morning at 9 a.m. in the Summers Cup Championship match. Colby upset No. 18 Amherst, 7-2, earlier on Saturday.
