GW Men's Squash Team Continue to Climb up National Rankings

MIDDLETOWN, CT - The GW Men's Squash team had a very successful road trip to Wesleyan University this weekend where they defeated higher ranked Wesleyan University (6-3) and Vassar College 9-0. Their only loss came to higher #22 ranked Northeastern (2-7).
The weekend results are all the more impressive given that the Colonials played without their #3 player, Matt Nelson-Teutsch and #7 Sam Moreno.
Coach Wendy Lawrence was especially excited that her team was able to defeat the Wesleyan team who is nationally ranked #23 to GW #25. The win will move GW Men up in the national rankings. In addition, the GW men are eager to have another chance to avenge their loss to Northeastern when the team will be at full strength on Jan 18 at the Yale University tournament.
