WASHINGTON - The No. 20-ranked George Washington men's squash team kicks off a busy week of competition on Wednesday afternoon when the Colonials visit No. 14 Navy at 5 p.m. at the Halsey Field House International Squash Courts.

GW (3-3) faces the Midshipmen on Wednesday before traveling to Massachusetts for a trio of weekend matches against No. 9 Western Ontario (Friday, 7 p.m., South Hadley, Mass.), No. 12 Bates (Saturday, 1 p.m., Amherst, Mass.) and No. 22 Amherst (Sunday, 9 a.m., Amherst, Mass.).

No. 15 Men's Squash Drops 6-3 Decision to No. 16 Navy
WASHINGTON - The No. 15 George Washington men's squash team won two of three matches in the top third of the ladder but ultimately fell to No. 16 Navy, 6-3, on Wednesday evening at the Matthew J. Grossman Squash Courts at Lerner Health & Wellness Center.

Both GW and Navy (9-3) are coming off of 9-0 losses to No. 1 Trinity. The Colonials faced the Bantams on Jan. 7 at the Matthew J. Grossman Squash Courts at Lerner Health & Wellness Center, the first time in program history the 14-time CSA National Champions have visited the Nation's Capital.

The following day, the Midshipmen pushed Trinity to extra frames in four of nine matches before conceding a 9-0 decision.

Freshman Andres de Frutos paces the Colonials with a 4-1 overall record at the No. 1 position on the ladder while classmate Nicolas Valderrama holds a 4-2 record at No. 2. The quartet of sophomores Reid Breck and James Reiss and freshmen Josh Marks and Augueste Boova each hold a 3-3 individual record.
