Gross will be responsible for on-court training, match preparation, recruiting and player development with a focus on alumni relations.
"I am happy to welcome Alexander to the GW squash staff," said head coach Wendy Lawrence. "His intercollegiate experience at Tufts, as well as his years as a club and camp coach, will be a welcomed addition to the program as we look to continue to climb the College Squash Association rankings in 2013-14.
A four-year member of the Tufts University varsity squash program, Gross served as team captain in his senior season while playing No. 1 for the Jumbos as a sophomore, junior and senior. He was also a three-time First Team All-NESCAC selection.
Gross has served as squash coach at the Capitol Hill Squash Camp (2006-11) while working as an account manager and senior associate at LivingSocial.
