High School: Captained Westminster Christian School team during his junior and senior seasons...Twice named team MVP...Became squad's all-time scorer...Took home first-place finishes in the 50- and 100-yard freestyle events and anchored first-place finishing 200-yard freestyle relay at districts...Was a state finalist in the 100-yard freestyle...Helped 200-yard freestyle and 200-yard medley relays snap school records...A 2011 Miami Herald All-Dade Third Team honoree for the 50- and 100-yard freestyle events...Was an AP student and a member of Mu Alpha Theta-Chaplain and science club...Participated in Fellowship of Christian Athletes...Also swam for Miami Swimming Club.
