Lauren Fuchs

Lauren Fuchs is in her first season as an assistant coach with the GW Swimming program, after completing her swimming career at GW in the spring of 2009. Fuchs remained in DC since graduating. She has been the pool manager at the Mount Vernon campus during the past two summer seasons, as well as serving as a volunteer assistant coach for the Colonials during the 2009-10 season. Fuchs also worked with GW's Exercise Science Department during the 2009-10 school year, as a swimming instructor. She not only taught the basic swim strokes, she developed and directed workouts with students in and out of the pool. Athlete - Career at GW: 2007-08 2006-07 2005-06: High School: Holds two school records, 100-yard breaststroke and 50-yard breastroke (medley relay) ... All-state, all-county, all-league and All-American consideration ... Team captain ... Member of the National Honor Society who graduated with a 5.6 weighted GPA.
