2010-11: At the Atlantic-10 Championship Meet: Finished 7th in both the 500 Free and 1650 Free ... Was 13th in the 200 Free ... Anchored the 800 Freestyle Relay that finished in 4th Place ... Time in the 1650 ranks 9th on the Program's Top Times List ... Served as a Team Captain ... Racked up eleven 1st Place performances in dual meet action ... Finished 7th in the 200 Free, 16th in the 100 and 500 Free at the Patriot Invitational ... Finished 2nd in the 200, 500 and 1000 Free events at the URI Invite and swam on the 1st Place 400 Free Relay.

2009-10: At the Atlantic 10 championships, Glenesk was the second highest scoring freshman and the only first-year in the A-10 to final in three events ... recorded lifetime bests in his 4th place 500-yard freestyle (4:36.57), 8th place 200-freestyle (1:42.50), and 7th place 1650-yard freestyle (16:12.78.) ... never competed in the 1650 before his race at the A-10s ... also an integral part of many relays for the Colonials, leading off the all-freshman 800-yard freestyle relay (1:42.36) ... Glenesk also swam on the 400-yard freestyle relay (46.68), 400-yard medley relay (47.06), and 200-yard freestyle relay (21.11).

High School: Four-year letterman for the Westlake Chaps ... a three-year regional meet finalist ... finalist in the Texas State Championships in 2009 in the 200-yard freestyle relay (4th) and 400-yard freestyle relay (5th) ... team captain in 2009 for the Chaps and Lost Creek Aquatics ... swam year round with Texas Gold (1997-2000), Circle C Swimming (2000-02) and Lost Creek Aquatics (2002-09) club swim teams.

Personal: Born Niklas Lekander Glenesk on January 5, 1991, in Austin, TX ... son of Agenta Lekander-Glenesk and Dean Glenesk ... father competed for the U.S. Olympic Team in 1980 and 84 in the modern pentathlon, earning a team silver in 1984 ... mother was a member of the Swedish Junior National track and field team, competing in 1500 meters in 1977 ... hobbies include snowboarding, sailing and golf ...majoring in chemistry with aspirations to pursue a graduate degree in a medical or science-related field.
