Junior Goran Koprivnjak Part of Both School Record-Setting Events
2012-13: Swam leadoff leg of record-setting 200-yard medley relay that finished sixth at the Atlantic 10 Championships (Feb. 20) with a new school time of 1:31.32...Won the B Final of the 200-yard backstroke, ninth overall, in a career time of 1:49.77 to sit fifth on GW's all-time list...Finished second in the B Final and 10th overall in the 100 back at the A-10 Championships with a career-best time of 50.53 seconds, also good for fifth on GW's all-time list...Swam leadoff leg of 400 medley relay that finished sixth in 3:20.57...Touched the wall in a career time of 1:54.25 in the 200-yard IM at A-10s...Saw a season-best time of 4:24.44 in the 400 IM at the Patriot Invitational...Named to GW Athletics Academic Dean's List, Fall 2012 and Spring 2013 Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Rolls and A-10 All-Academic Team.
2011-12: Swam second leg of school-record setting 800-yard freestyle relay team that finished third at Atlantic 10 Championships (Feb. 22) with a time of 6:40.15...Finished eighth at A-10 Championships in 100-yard backstroke with a time of 51.03 seconds...Posted a career-best time of 1:51.69 in the 200-yard backstroke at A-10 Championships...Named to GW Department of Athletics and Recreation Academic Dean's List...Named to Fall 2011 Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll.
2010-11: At the Atlantic-10 Championship Meet: Finished fifth in the 100-yard backstroke, seventh in the 200-yard backstroke and 11th in the 200-yard individual medley...Led off the fifth-place 400-yard medley relay... Performances rank eighth in the 200-yardIM, 100-yard backstroke and 200-yard backstroke on the program's top times list...Named A-10 Rookie of the Week (Jan. 31) following performances at Towson and GMU...Finished second in the 100- and 200-yardbackstroke events against Drexel...Finished first in the 200-yard backstroke, second in the 200-yardIM and second in the 200-yard backstroke against Towson and Howard...Finished second in the 100- and 200-yard backstroke eventsand third in the 200-yard individual medleyagainst GMU.
