Shea Manning, a Fairfax, VA, native, joins the Colonials' coaching staff after two seasons as the assistant coach at his alma mater, Claremont McKenna College where he helped the CMS women's team to two NCAA Division III top-6 finishes, including two event national champions and three runner-up finishes in 2010. He also worked with the CMS men's squad to a top-10 finish in the West Region in 2009.

Manning has been a part of the coaching staffs of the Springboard Swim Team, Dunn Loring Dive Team and Paul VI Catholic High School swim team in the northern Virginia area. He was one of 25 coaches from NCAA Division I, II, and III invited to coach at the University of Texas Longhorns swim camp in back-to-back years.

Manning was named to the All-Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference team in each of his four seasons (2004-07).
