WASHINGTON, DC - The George Washington men's swimming & diving team concluded their home portion of their schedule defeating George Mason, 116-112. David Zenk carried the Colonials with two individual wins but had plenty of help with four other men taking individual crowns as well.

Zenk won the 50 and 100-yard freestyle events in 21.42 and 47.01 respectively. He also anchored a first place 200-yard freestyle relay with Jonathan Sabin, Jeff Cohn, Dan Mahoney.

Sabin and Mahoney both won individual titles in their last meet at the Charles E. Smith Athletic Center. Mahoney took the 200-yard freestyle in 1:46.41 while Sabin took the 100-yard backstroke in 53.68. Sabin also swam a leg of a victorious 200-yard medley relay team with Tom Pullen, Stephen Cosme, and Rick Rogers. Rogers also earned a first place finish with a 1:02.50 in the 100-yard breaststroke.

Cascade Tuholske was the only other Colonial who take an individual event, hitting the wall in 2:01.44 in the 200-yard IM.

GW will be back in action in their final regular season meet at Army in West Point, NY on Feb. 3 at 2:00 pm.
