Zenk breaks A-10 Conference record.

BUFFALO, NY - Sophomore Paola Leor started off day two of the Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving Championships for The George Washington University women's swimming team on fire in the pool.
Leor broke her own record in the 200-yard individual medley by two tenths of a second with a time of 2:05.66. She went on to break the GW team record in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of :23.69. In Leor's third event of the night, the 200-yard freestyle relay, she helped fellow GW swimmers Jessica Miga, Laura Myers and Katrina Timlin set a new team record with a time of 1:34.93.
For the GW men's swimmers, senior David Zenk took first place, broke a GW team record and an Atlantic 10 conference record in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 1:48.35. Zenk was also a member of the 200-yard freestyle relay team with Daniel Seifert, Rick Rogers and Marshall Seedorff, finished fifth with a time of 1:22.80.
After 14 events, GW has set six records at this year's conference meet, four of which are women's team records and two for the men's team.
Day three began with prelims at 10:30 a.m. and will be followed by finals at 6:30 p.m. at Flickinger Athletics Center in Buffalo, NY.
