BUFFALO, NY - Senior men's swimmer David Zenk was a highlight in day three of the 2009 Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving Championships for The George Washington University swimming team in Buffalo, NY.
Zenk broke his own record in the 400-yard individual medley set with the 3:54.94 in the 2006-07 A-10 Championships, with a time of 3:52.17. He has won the 400-yard individual medley the past three years at the championship meet.
His time of 3:52.17 is also a "B" qualifying time for the NCAA Championships.
Senior Ariana Berdini broke a team record in the 100-yard breaststroke prelims with a time of 1:04.85, but finished eighth in the finals with a time of 1:05.57 behind fellow senior GW swimmer Lauren Fuchs in seventh with 1:05.51.
