BUFFALO, NY - After the first day of the 2007 Atlantic 10 Championships the George Washington men's swimming & diving team is in sixth place with 50 points. In the men's championship, Massachusetts finished the night in first place with 80 points, and Duquesne is in second with 68. Xavier and St. Bonaventure are tied for third place with 62 points each. In fifth place is Rhode Island with 54 followed by the Colonials with 50, Fordham with 46, St. Louis with 42, and La Salle with 26.

In the 200-yard medley relay the team of Jonathan Sabin, Tom Pullen, Stephen Cosme and Rick Rogers place eighth in 1:36.10. In the 800-yard freestyle relay the lineup Dan Mahoney, Stephen Cosme, Jeff Cohn and David Zenk finished fifth in 6:51.00.

Day two of the Atlantic 10 Championships kicks off at 10:30 am tomorrow at the Flickinger Center on the campus of Erie Community College. The schedule for tomorrow's events are as follows.
