WASHINGTON, DC - The Atlantic 10 Conference has named GW freshman swimmer Niccolo Wilson as Men's A-10 Rookie Performer of the Week for the second time this season after the Colonials finished third at the URI Invitational, against La Salle, Massachusetts and Rhode Island, on Jan. 14-15.

Wilson competed in six events for the Colonials, tying for second in the 100-yard freestyle (48.34) and led off the men's 200-yard freestyle relay team that finished third.

The San Diego, CA, native tabbed his first weekly honor on Nov. 8, after GW defeated Drexel at Charles E. Smith Center.

The Colonials are gearing up to take on District-rival Georgetown, on Saturday, Jan. 22, at the Hoyas' McCarthy Pool starting at 1:00 p.m.
