Buffalo, NY -The George Washington University men's and women's swimming and diving teams are gearing up to compete at the 2009 Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving Championships on Feb. 18-21 at the Flickinger Aquatics Center in Buffalo, NY.

Senior David Zenk seeks to become the first-ever three-time A-10 Most Outstanding Performer recipient on the men's side and capture his fourth first-place title in the 200-yard individual medley.

Freshman Isabel Tawney and sophomore Paola Leor seek a strong outing for the GW women's swimming team.

The Championships begins at 4:30 p.m. Feb. 18, with the trials of the women's one-meter diving, followed by the finals of the men's and women's 200-yard medley and 800-yard freestyle relays at 6:30 p.m., along with the finals of women's one-meter diving. The A-10 Championship competition resumes Feb 19-22 at 10:30 a.m. for time trials followed by finals at 6:30 p.m.
