David Zenk Named 2008-09 Men's Swimming MVP

WASHINGTON, DC- Senior David Zenk was named the 2008-09 Most Valuable Player for the men's swimming team at The George Washington University Athletic Department's annual Senior Honors Luncheon on May 4.

A three-time team MVP, David won Most Outstanding Performer for an unprecedented third time at the 2009 Atlantic 10 Championship meet after breaking the A-10 record in the 200-yard backstroke and GW records in the 100 and 200-yard freestyle, and 200 and 400-IM. He also holds the records for five individual events in GW history. This season, David was named Atlantic 10 Student-Athlete of the Year for men's swimming. Congratulations men's swimming MVP, David Zenk.
