BUFFALO, NY - The 2006 Atlantic 10 Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Championships are set to be held this Wednesday, Feb. 15, through Saturday, Feb 18, at the Flickinger Aquatics Center in Buffalo, NY with the George Washington men's and women's teams in search of its first-ever conference crowns.

Massachusetts looks for its sixth consecutive men's title while Richmond seeks to add to its Championship-record four straight women's crowns in this year's Championships.

The UMass men's program amassed 804 points last season to become the first A-10 program to win five consecutive titles. St. Bonaventure totaled 652.5 points in finishing runner-up for the sixth straight year.

On the women's side, Richmond totaled 921 points at last year's Championship, the second-highest total in Conference history, en route to becoming the first program to win four straight titles.

The Championship commences at 4:30pm on Wednesday with the men's one-meter diving competition, followed by the finals of the men's and women's 200-yard medley and 800-yard freestyle relays at 6:30.

The Championship continues at 10:30am on Thursday with the time trials, followed by the finals at 6:30pm.

The same schedule will be followed on Friday and Saturday.
