Swimming Opens Renovated Pool against Georgetown
Fans encouraged to wear Buff for the first home meet of the season.

WASHINGTON, DC -- George Washington University men's and women's swimming teams will host rival Georgetown, Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Charles E. Smith Center Natatorium at 1 p.m.
The heated rivalry meet, a Buff Out event, will be one of three meets the Colonials will host this season.
The Colonials are coming off an Oct. 16-17 dual meet with other local rivals American and Catholic. At the two-day meet, the men's team won 11 of 13 events. Freshmen Stephan Franke and Niklas Glenesk both won three events each and posted top-five times in multiple other events. Also, freshman Paolo DeLuca won two races.
GW will host Old Dominion Dec. 5 at 1:00 p.m. and Howard, the team's senior meet, on Jan. 22 at 6 p.m. The Atlantic 10 Championship on Feb. 17-20, will be held at Flickinger Aquatics Center in Buffalo, NY. St. Bonaventure University will be the host school for the event.
