Sean Holcomb-Jones is in his second year as an assistant coach for the Colonials. Before coming to GW, Holcomb-Jones created, and is the director of the Baltimore Fitness and Tennis where he coached 10 nationally, and two internationally, ranked players. He coordinates and oversees all player development for the organization. He has also coached a national team for Tennis Europe in 2006-07, and was an assistant coach at Coppin State University for the 2005-07 seasons. Holcomb-Jones also coached the Kuwaiti and Puerto Rican junior national teams in 2000-01. He is USPTA and USTA certified.
The Schenectady, NY, native graduated from Towson University as a three-year letterwinner from the men's tennis team in 2005 and is currently pursuing a master's in philosophy at GW.
