LOS ANGELES – In its 2018 season opener, the George Washington men’s tennis team fell to No. 6 UCLA, 7-0, on Thursday afternoon. The Colonials faced a tough slate of competitors, as sophomore William Tutecky played against top-ranked Martin Redlicki, while Chris Reynolds played Keegan Smith, ranked No. 108 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings.

LOOK AHEAD: The Colonials will take Friday off to travel up the coastline to San Francisco before facing a trio of teams over the weekend. The Buff and Blue will first take on the University of San Francisco (10 a.m. PT) and Stanford (3 p.m.) on Saturday before going head-to-head with Pacific at noon on Sunday.
