McLEAN, VA - The George Washington men's tennis team fell to James Madison, 4-2, in non-conference action on Friday, Jan. 27, at the Regency Sport & Health Club. Sophomore Sam Salyer (Minneapolis, MN) and junior Daniel Balke (Portage, MI) each posted singles victories to lead the Colonials.
In singles play, Salyer earned his first victory of the season by defeating John Snead in three sets, 6-2, 4-6, 6-1, at No. 2, while Balke knocked off Bob Allensworth, 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 at the fifth position.
