Men's Tennis Falls to American, 4-3

WASHINGTON, DC - The George Washington men's tennis team dropped it's fourth match of the spring, a 4-3 defeat to American on Saturday, January 31. GW players were victorious in one, two and three singles, but their troubles in doubles play continued as American swept the three doubles matches.

The Colonials will try and pick up a victory when they host Morgan St. on Saturday, February 7 at the Montclair Tennis Club.

Singles:
1. Matt Treadgold (GW) def. Guillaume Tarralle (AU), 6-4, 6-4
2. Jake Jopling (GW) def. Tushar Garg (AU), 6-1, 6-3
3. Marius Weigert (GW) def. Juancarlo Vazquez (AU), 6-3, 1-6, 6-3
4. Will Timmons (GW) lost to Andreas Kulcsar (AU), 5-7, 2-6
5. Brett Warner (GW) lost to Jonah Fliegelman (AU), 3-6, 1-6
6. Daniel Raisbeck (GW) lost to Sebastien Proisy (AU), 1-6, 0-6

Doubles:
1. Hane/Warner (GW) lost to Garg/Kulcsar (AU), 4-8
2. Weigert/Raisbeck (GW) lost to Vazquez/Tarralle (AU), 5-8
3. Treadgold/Balke (GW) lost to Fliegelman/Rivero (AU), 7-9
