COLLEGE PARK, MD - The George Washington University men's tennis team fell to Maryland, 6-1, Sunday afternoon in College Park, MD. Maryland is currently ranked No. 72 team in the country.

In singles play, sophomore Erik Hannah was victorious in his No. 4 singles match against his Maryland opponent 7-6 (7-5), 6-1. Sophomore Ugur Atalay fought back in his No. 2 singles match and forced the second set to a tiebreaker, but fell to his Maryland opponent 7-5, 7-6 (7-4).

The Colonials have two weeks before their next matches against University of North Carolina- Greensboro on Mar. 6 and Atlantic 10 foe Charlotte on Mar. 7.
