PHILADELPHIA, PA - The George Washington University men's tennis team dropped both its matches on the road last weekend, March 17-18, against Atlantic 10 Conference opponents Saint Joseph's and Temple. The Hawks and Owls each posted 5-1 victories over the Colonials with both matches being played at the Arthur Ashe Tennis Center in Philadelphia.
On Friday, sophomore Mustafa Gencsoy (Istanbul, Turkey) recorded the Colonials' lone point with a 7-6 (8-6), 7-5 win over Jimmy Holland at No. 1 singles. Saint Joe's won the remaining four singles matches and took the doubles point for the final margin.
