RICHMOND, Va. - The No. 59 George Washington men's tennis team stayed perfect in Atlantic 10 play with a 5-2 victory at Richmond on Saturday afternoon.

GW (9-5, 3-0 A-10) won the doubles point while also claiming victories at the Nos. 1, 3, 5 and 6 singles slots.

The Colonials swept the Spiders in doubles action, as senior Alexander van Gils and junior Ulrik Thomsen defeated Sebastien Fauchet and Jesse Feder, 8-2, at No. 1, freshman Danil Zelenkov and junior Nikita Fomin earned an 8-5 win at No. 2 over Ethan Dunbar and Paul Nahon, and sophomore Francisco Dias and senior Leonardo Lapentti defeated Justin Baker and Dylan Trent, 8-4, at No. 3.

At No. 1 singles, Fomin downed Dunbar, 7-6, 6-2, and Zelenkov defeated Nahon, 6-4, 6-4, at the No. 3 spot. Thomsen won the fifth flight, 6-0, 6-2, over Trent, and junior Viktor Svensson topped Baker, 6-0, 6-2, at No. 6.

GW looks to stay unbeaten in A-10 play when it visits No. 25 VCU on Sunday at 1 p.m. The Rams represent the Colonials' eighth ranked opponent this spring.
