GW Men's Tennis Drops Match To Atlantic 10 Foe Richmond, 5-2

RICHMOND, VA - The GW Men's Tennis team lost its third straight match to Richmond, 5-2, on Thursday, April 3 in Richmond, VA. The loss drops the Colonials record to 8-7 on the season. In singles play, junior Matt Hane (Walterboro, SC/Porter-Gaud School) extended his winning streak to 12 with a 5-7, 6-2, (5) victory over David Donn. GW got its only other singles win from sophomore Matt Treadgold (Glenmont, NY/Bethlehem Central), who won at number two, 6-4, 6-0. Hane also won his seventh straight doubles match and third in a row with senior Brett Warner (Vienna, VA/James Madison), 8-5, but the Colonials couldn't win any other matches. The Colonials will try and break their losing streak when they host St. Bonaventure on Saturday, April 5 at the Montclair Tennis Club in Montclair, VA.
