MONROEVILLE, PA - George Washington men's tennis captured the third place title in the 2009 Atlantic 10 Men's Tennis Championship, defeating Saint Louis, 4-1, Sunday.

Doubles duo Arya Vayghan and Erik Hannah defeated Saint Louis' P.J. Hendrie and Adam Reeb 8-3 for the only GW doubles victory.

In singles action, freshman Ugur Atalay was victorious over James McArthur 7-5 (5), 6-4, to complete the season on an nine-match winning streak. Chris Kushma, Richard Blumenfeld and Vayghan all defeated their opponents in straight sets to capture the victory.

Later in the day, Xavier defeated St. Bonaventure, 4-0, for their second-straight A-10 title.
