Atalay, Hannah Debut 2010 Season Nationally Ranked

WASHINGTON -- George Washington men's tennis duo of sophomore Ugur Atalay and junior Erik Hannah will start the spring 2010 season nationally ranked among doubles teams at No. 29 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Jan. 5 poll.

Atalay and Hannah enjoyed a strong fall season, highlighted by reaching the men's doubles final at the University of Virginia Invitational, falling to the Cavaliers' nationally ranked No. 5 doubles pair Houston Barrick and Sanam Singh.

The nationally ranked duo will lead the GW men's tennis team into its spring season opener at Old Dominion in Norfolk, VA, Jan. 16 at 10:00 a.m.
