The top-seeded George Washington men's tennis team routed second-seeded VCU, 4-1, to take home the 2014 Atlantic 10 Championship last weekend. The Colonials swept past Dayton (4-0) on Friday and Richmond (4-0) on Saturday to reach their fifth straight A-10 title match. On Sunday, GW dropped the doubles point to VCU to open the match, but fought back with singles victories at the Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 5 positions to avenge a narrow title-match loss to the Rams in 2013 and claim its third conference crown in four years.
