Men’s Tennis’ Fall Schedule Announced

2017 Fall Schedule

WASHINGTON -- George Washington men’s tennis is slated to compete in three tournaments this fall, head coach David Macpherson announced on Friday.

Each tournament will feature flighted singles and doubles play leading up to the ITA Atlantic Regional Championships, when the Colonials will compete in a tournament format for singles and doubles.

For the third straight season, the Colonials open fall competition at the Joe Hunt Invite hosted by Navy from Sept. 22-24 in Annapolis, Maryland.

The Buff and Blue then head to Lynchburg, Virginia, to compete at the ITA Atlantic Regional Championships hosted by Liberty University, beginning October 19. The winners from the Regional Championships will earn automatic bids to the ITA/USTA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships in November.

The fall season concludes in Sarasota, Florida for the Dick Vitale Invitational, Nov. 3-5.
