Dias earned a spot in the main draw with an upset over No. 58, but dropped a three-set match to No. 26 in the first round of main draw action. The Lisbon, Portugal, native went on to upset No. 17 and No. 31 to advance to the third round of the main draw consolation bracket, where he eventually fell to No. 60.
