Cartica Leads George Washington at Paul Short Invite

LEHIGH, PA - Senior Dan Cartica led the George Washington Colonials men's cross country team after he finished 21st overall at the Paul Short Invitational on the campus of Lehigh University. Cartica finished with a time of 25:38.

Senior Rob Lockhart finished second for the Colonials and 60th overall with a time of 26:13 and junior Andrew Zahornacky finished 121st overall and third for the Colonials.

The Colonials now will have two weeks to prepare for the Penn State National Invitational, which will take place on Friday, October 16th. The race is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. and is the final race for the Colonials before they head to the A-10 Championships on October 31st.
