GW Men's Cross Country Takes 32nd at Paul Short Invitational

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The George Washington men's cross country team finished in 32nd place out of 46 teams in the Men's Brown 8,000-meter race at the Paul Short Invitational at Lehigh University on Saturday.

Freshman Seamus Roddy earned his first career team top performance, leading the Colonials with his 75th place result out of 372 competitors. Roddy navigated the 8K course in 26:45.

Roddy's rookie classmate Jordan Pantalone was next across the finish line for the Colonials, finishing in 27:06 for 108th place. He was followed by junior Tyler Gillies (26:45, 173rd), sophomore Ryan Tucker (27:57, 192nd) and freshman Jack McCabe (30:27, 302nd)

GW returns to Pennsylvania on October 19 for the Leopard Invitational hosted by Lafayette College.
