GW Cross Country Announces 2013 Schedule
Slate Features Four Races in D.C., Maryland and Virginia

WASHINGTON - George Washington's men's and women's cross country teams will compete in five regular-season races as part of their 2013 fall schedules, third-year head coach Terry Weir has announced.
The Colonials open the 2013 campaign in Richmond, Va., at the Spider Open on August 31 before competing in a pair of local races the following two weekends.
On September 7, GW visits district-neighbor Catholic University for the Catholic Invitational. The next week, September 14, the Colonials return to the annual Navy Invitational in Annapolis, Md., where the GW women will compete in the Salty Dog Invitational and the men will run in the Navy Invitational.
On October 5, the Colonials head to Bethlehem, Pa., to run in Lehigh's Paul Short Invitational before wrapping the regular season on October 19 at the Leopard Invitational in Lafayette, Pa.
GW returns to Richmond, Va., on November 2 for the 2013 Atlantic 10 Championships at Pole Green Park.
The NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional is scheduled to be held in Bethlehem, Pa., on Friday, November 8.
Pending performance at the Mid-Atlantic Regional, the Colonials will conclude their season on November 17 at either the IC4A/ECAC Championships at Van Cortland Park in New York City or the NCAA Championship in Louisville, Ky.
