WASHINGTON, DC - The George Washington University men's and women's cross country teams will compete in the 2010 Atlantic 10 Championships on Saturday morning at Schenley Park in Pittsburgh, PA. The 5K women's race starts at 9:00 am, with the 8K men's race following at 9:45 am.

All-American senior Megan Hogan will attempt to capture her second consecutive A-10 Individual Championship. Last year, Hogan handily won the 5K race by 56 seconds as she ran the course in 18:37.8. She became the first Colonials runner to ever win the A-10 Championship, after finishing in second-place in 2008.

Senior Jessica Stern will try to replicate her performance at last year's A-10 Championships where she finished seventh overall. The GW women finished eighth out of the 14 A-10 schools.

The GW men look to bounce back from their last outing, where a string of bad luck and injuries prevented the team from registering a team finish at the Penn State Invitational. The Colonials finished 10th out of 14 teams at last years A-10 Championships. Dan Cartica led GW with a 28th-place finish and Alex Dadds finished in 59th-place.
