As a Senior in 2002-2003
Joens was perhaps the most explosive offensive threat in the Atlantic 10, averaging 17.2 points per game, and shooting a torrid 43.3 percent (94-217) from beyond the arc, and setting a new school record for trifectas made in a single season with 94. Joens was voted to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference First Team and was named the Atlantic 10 Player of the Year for her outstanding season that culminated with the fourth Atlantic 10 Tournament Championship title for the Colonials int he program's history. Joens was third in overall scoring in the conference and ranked second in three-point field goal percentage and first in three-point field goals made. These impressive marks ranked Joens 13th and 15th in the nation, respectively. Joens set a career high when she scored 35 points versus Fordham on Jan. 15, 2003, matching her own school record of seven three's in on game.
As a Junior in 2001-2002 Scored in double figures in 27 of 30 games, leading the team in scoring with a 15.3 points per game average...named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference First Team...led the conference in three-point field goal percentage, hitting her trifectas at a 41.1% clip...finished the season ranked fifth in scoring, eighth in field goal percentage (.425), 12th in steals per game (1.73), and third in three-piont field goals made with 72...scored a career-high 27 points at St. Bonaventure (2-2-02)...scored 20+ points seven times...named to the Gene Hackerman Rice Invitational All-Tournament Team...named to the Pepperdine Holiday Classic All-Tournament Team.

Scored 13 points, grabbed five rebounds and dished five assists in an explosive 17 minutes off the bench at SMU in the championship game of the SMU Hoops For The Cure Thanksgiving tournament... was named to the all-tournament team at the SMU event... named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week on Nov. 28... hit a critical nine-foot jumper off a loose ball as the shot clock expired to give GW an 80-75 lead with 15 seconds remaining against Santa Clara... tallied a career-high 22 points with a blistering shooting performance in the rout of Md.-E. Shore... scored 16 points and grabbed six rebounds in a very solid game at Arkansas... was 6-6 from the free throw line in the final minute of the game at Virginia Tech to seal the win... was 4-4 from three-point range en route to 13 points at Dayton... tied her career-high with seven rebounds against Fordham... led the team with seven rebounds and scored 11 points at St. Bonaventure... fifth on the team in scoring (7.0 ppg) while averaging 16.4 minutes per game... second on the team in three-point field goals made (28-89, 31.5%).
