Battling injury in the first half of the year, Davidson worked through her season struggles to come on strong in the second half, scoring in double-figures seven of the last 11 games... earned the Atlantic 1o Sixth-Player of the Year award for her solid play off the bench and as a starter...started in 17 of 29 games...ranked first on the team in assists (3.8) and steals (2.0) per game...ranked fifth in steals per game and ninth in assists per contest in the conference.
As a Sophomore in 2000-2001:
Set Atlantic 10 record for field goal percentage by a sophomore against Xavier (1-6-01), shooting 11-12 (.917) including 4-4 from behind the arc for a career-high 26 points... Scored 15 on 5-8 shooting, all beyond the arc against URI (2-25-01)...Recorded a career-high 6 steals at Fordham (1-18-01)... Awarded Player of the Week on January 7, 2001... Continued her hot shooting against conference foe St. Joseph's going 6-8 from the field including 4-5 from 3-pt. land... Shot 73.3% from the field in first three A-10 games... Started 31 of 32 y games this year at guard, giving up her starting spot on Senior Night... Scored 15 points on 6-7 shooting, 3-4 from beyond the arc, against Rutgers. and was selected to the Coca Cola All-Tournament Team at Rutgers (11-26-00).
As a Freshman in 1999-2000:
A highly-touted player in high school, Davidson possessed composure, court-awareness and leadership not often seen in a freshman... the point guard of the future for GW... scored four points in 18 minutes at Vanderbilt... dished out three assists while committing no turnovers against Vandy... with very solid play at the point, helped key a first-half comeback to narrow the Vandy lead... scored eight points, grabbed eight rebounds and dished six assists while committing no turnovers in 21 minutes against Albany... scored a career-high 10 points, nine rebounds and six assists in the rout of Md.-E. Shore... scored five points and dished seven assists against Fordham... dished four assists while committing no turnovers at Massachusetts... fourth on the team with 54 assists... fifth in the A-10 in assists/turnover ratio (1.59:1).
